Plain-English, updated for Google Analytics & Google Ads
β‘ Our simple promise: Falcon Global Logistics operates a company website showcasing our freight forwarding, air & ocean freight, and logistics services. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site, and we work with Google AdSense to display advertising that helps support the site. Both use cookies and are explained fully below. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use invasive tools like session-recording or fingerprinting scripts.
π 1. Automatic Data Collection (Google Analytics)
Like the vast majority of websites, Falcon Global Logistics uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate visitor trends β for example, which pages are popular, which country visitors come from, and how they found our site. Google Analytics automatically collects information such as your IP address (in truncated/anonymized form), browser type, device type, approximate location, and pages viewed, using cookies and similar technologies.
We use this information only in aggregate, anonymized form to improve our website and services. We do not use it to individually identify or track you across other websites. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking site-wide by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or manage your ad personalization preferences directly at myadcenter.google.com.
π 2. Information We Collect (Only When You Voluntarily Contact Us)
Falcon Global Logistics only receives personal information when you actively decide to reach out via our contact form, email link, or phone call. This happens exclusively when a prospective client or partner shows interest in our logistics services β we never pre-collect or harvest data.
- Inquiry Form Data: If you fill out our βRequest Quoteβ or βContact Usβ form, you provide your name, company name, email address, phone number, and a brief message about your shipping/logistics needs. This data is sent directly to our company email inbox (info@falcongl.com) and is not stored in any external CRM or third-party database unless we explicitly reply and maintain a business conversation.
- Direct Communications: When you send an email to any @falcongl.com address or call our phone numbers, we may retain your contact details and correspondence history as part of our legitimate business records β solely to respond to your inquiry and provide quotes or service updates.
- No hidden forms, no pop-ups, no newsletter signup traps: We do not embed any data capture mechanisms that operate without your explicit action. Every communication begins with your consent.
Important: We never collect sensitive data such as government IDs, payment information, or shipment details unless you become a direct client and share such info via encrypted email or signed contracts. Our website does not process any financial transactions online.
π€ 3. How We Use Your Information
Any information you share with us will only be used for the following legitimate purposes directly related to your request:
- Responding to your quote requests, answering questions about ocean freight, air freight, customs clearance, and logistics solutions.
- Contacting you back via email or phone to discuss potential business collaboration.
- Preparing customized logistics proposals or service offers based on the details you provided.
- Internal record keeping to manage our sales and customer follow-ups (only for active leads or clients).
- Improving our business operations based on aggregated and anonymized trends (never tied to individual visitors).
We will never use your contact information for any automated marketing, unsolicited bulk emails, or sell/rent your data to third parties. If you request a quote, we may contact you up to a reasonable number of times regarding your logistics needs β you can ask us to stop at any moment.
π« 4. Third-Party Services We Use
Falcon Global Logistics keeps the number of third-party tools on this site to a minimum. We currently use:
- Google Analytics β website traffic and usage statistics (see Section 1).
- Google AdSense β Google may show advertising on our website and blog. Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, including based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can learn more about how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting adssettings.google.com.
- Google Fonts β served under Google's standard font terms.
We do not use Facebook/LinkedIn/Twitter tracking pixels, session-recording or heatmap tools (e.g. Hotjar), live chat widgets, or chatbots. Aside from Google Analytics and Google AdSense described above, no other third-party marketing or tracking scripts run on this website.
πͺ 5. Cookies
This website uses a small number of cookies, set by the services described above:
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics): help us understand how visitors use the site, in aggregate and anonymized form.
- Advertising cookies (Google AdSense): used by Google and its partners to display and measure ads, and β unless you opt out β to personalize the ads you see based on your browsing.
- No other cookies: we do not set any additional tracking, marketing, or session-recording cookies of our own beyond what these two Google services require.
You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on, and manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com. If you choose to fill out our contact form, that information is sent to us directly by email and is separate from the cookies described here.
π€ 6. Data Sharing & Disclosure
Falcon Global Logistics does not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share your personal information with unrelated third parties for marketing purposes. The only limited circumstances where we may share information are:
- With your explicit consent: If you ask us to connect you with a partner carrier or customs broker for a specific shipment, we may share necessary details only with your approval.
- Legal obligations: If required by law, court order, or governmental regulation (e.g., customs authorities or anti-fraud investigations), we may disclose necessary information.
- Business operations: Our internal team (directors, logistics coordinators) accesses your inquiry to respond. We use standard email services (Gmail/Outlook) which are GDPR-compliant and secure.
We never share your data with data brokers, analytics firms, or advertisers. Because we don't collect data en masse, there's nothing to βleakβ or sell.
π 7. Data Security & Retention
We take reasonable organizational and technical measures to protect any personal information that you voluntarily share with us:
- Email security: Our company emails are protected with strong passwords, two-factor authentication, and encrypted connections (TLS).
- Limited access: Only authorized Falcon Global Logistics personnel have access to customer inquiry emails.
- Retention: We retain your contact information and correspondence for as long as necessary to fulfill your request, manage potential ongoing business, or comply with legal record-keeping (generally up to 3 years after last interaction, unless you ask for deletion).
- Deletion requests: If you wish to have your data removed from our email records, simply email us at info@falcongl.com and we will permanently delete our conversation history within 15 days, unless a legal obligation requires retention.
Because our website does not store any data automatically, there is no βbackend databaseβ with your information β only the emails we exchange.
β
8. Your Rights & Choices
Although we are not subject to GDPR/CCPA as a small logistics firm based in Pakistan, we respect fundamental privacy rights. You have the following rights concerning any personal data you have shared with us voluntarily:
- Right to access: Ask us what personal information we hold about you (we will provide copies of our email correspondence).
- Right to rectification: Correct any inaccurate details you previously shared.
- Right to erasure (βright to be forgottenβ): Request that we delete all records of our communication.
- Right to object: Opt-out of any further contact from us at any time.
- Right to data portability: Receive a copy of your data in a readable format.
To exercise any right, simply email privacy@falcongl.com or call +92 21 32465166-7. We will respond within 15 business days without any charge.
